I’m pretty sure that I used to enjoy this day reading about various pranks that fooled a bunch of people, but it has really gotten out of hand now. Just take a look at Slashdot. I think there might be one real article in there somewhere today, but the rest is just people trying too hard to out-do each other for their April Fool’s Day gag.
There is a point when this stuff is just no longer amusing. Please stop… you’re just missing the point.

Well it appears that someone woke up with their April Fools’ crabby pants on this morning.

Just wanted to let you know that the folks over at CNet came up with an idea very similar to yours regarding multiple RSS feeds on 1 page.
http://www.newsburst.com
I’ve been playing with it and it beats the hell out of Google News.

Newsburst looks pretty interesting… a more efficient approach to what I’m doing for sure. After changing my view preferences to Dashboard you can make it look pretty much like mine. I had some trouble in setting up a feed intitially, but I don’t remember what feed it was that I wanted to setup. I setup /., ALA, and K5 and they all seem cool.

They don’t seem to update too often. That may be the only downside. Bastards.
I want my RSS!

Wierd to think that I graduate next week. Hope all is going well with you. You’re a consultant now? I read your profile on the mIRC forums.
I’ll be moving to Peoria, IL, to work for Caterpillar Logistics beginning May 31st. Hello World I guess. Shoot me a line (email) or post comments on my blog so we can keep in touch.
Take care.

Congrats man. I read your blog a week or so back and was wondering if there were any updates. Good to see that you got the job you wanted after all those interviews. Smith and I will have to have a few beers with you sometime before you take off.
And no - my title is still developer, but its easiest to be vague and say consultant. I wear many hats :)
